The European Parents’ Association (EPA) has expressed its clear support for the European Family Contract (EFC) and the related call addressed to the European Commission.

In a letter to Roxana Mînzatu, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, the EPA highlights the central role of families and parents in Europe’s social and demographic future. It calls for stronger support in helping parents reconcile family and professional responsibilities, greater recognition of parents as the primary educators of their children, and the exchange of good practices between EU Member States.     EPA Letter of Support EFC Signed

The aim is to place families and children more firmly at the heart of European strategies and to integrate the European Family Contract into relevant EU initiatives and policies.     EPA Letter of Support EFC Signed

The full letter from the European Parents’ Association is available in the attachment.
